my blog (a separate site)

I talk a lot about subjects that touch my areas of expertise, at events and on radio & television.

I am a faculty member at The School of Life - so far, I have talked about psychotherapy and how to spend time alone.

I run creative writing workshops, most recently for the Jewish Community Centre in London.

I talk about feminism - or perhaps gender equalitarianism - in the modern world. Here's a blog post I wrote for the Golden Notebook project, and here's a panel at the Bath Literary festival.

I talk about e-books, computer games and other computer-based literary experiences.

Here I am on the Guardian tech podcast talking about e-books.

Here I am talking about the experience of writing Perplex City:

I talk about Jewish things. I recently spoke - along with Jackie Kay and Ali Smith - about the wonderful American Jewish feminist short story writer Grace Paley.
